According to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation it states that crohn’s disease has affected around 780,000 Americans. It also says that anyone can really develop crohn’s disease but it is usually diagnosed in young adults around the age of 15 to 35. Crohn’s disease is also more frequent to be found in females. Caucasians and Ashkenazi jews develop crohn’s disease at a higher rate than any other ethnicity. When both parents have crohn’s disease, the risk of their kids having crohn’s disease is at 35%.
